I produced a story for WBEZ’s Curious City on where we get the term “Midwest Nice”. The story unpacks the stereotype of polite Midwestern disposition, it’s possible historical origins, and expands on how personality intersects with the politics of the region.

CHIRP Docs
This is a short documentary I produced for the Chicago Independent Radio Project 107.1 FM. It focuses on a tribute show to J Dilla performed by Chicago band Sidewalk Chalk. The podcast goes into some of J Dilla’s biography and the influence he has had on the musicians playing in the tribute. I reported, edited, mixed, and sound designed the documentary.
NotPetya: A virus that nearly took down the world
I work as a sound designer and composer, as well as an occasional writer and producer, for the show Darknet Diaries. This episode discusses a sinister computer virus that nearly caused worldwide catastrophe.
